AVIATION SAFETY TRAINING

HSRC Director – Kevin Rookes provides aviation safety training on behalf of Sofema Aviation Services.

Kevin’s years of experience in aviation many of which have been as an accepted Quality & Safety Manager by many National Aviation Authorities including the EASA, the FAA and the Hong Kong CAD and now as an International Aviation Safety Specialist working with all types of Airlines, Maintenance Repair Organisations (MRO) provides a wealth of experience and knowledge which is transferred to delegates during the training.

With comprehensive knowledge and sound competence in many Aviation business facets including Material Processing, Aero Engine Overhaul & Repair, Training, Facilitating, Coaching, and the implementation and management of Quality, Safety and Risk-Management Systems and Business Continuity, Crisis Management & Emergency Response ensures training delegates receive a clear understanding of the training topic.

Additionally, Kevin is a trained Auditor of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems and OHSAS18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems requirements and an experienced Technical Trainer of EASA and FAA compliant regulatory training including Part 145, Part 21, Part M, Human Factors, Fatigue Risk Management, Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems (EWIS), Fuel Tank Safety (FTS), Auditing, Logistics & Stores Inspection, and Safety Management Systems.
